Ankle & Foot Care Centers Will Sponsor 9th Annual American Diabetes Association Golf Outing in August
Corporate sponsors and golfers are being sought for the benefit event

AUSTINTOWN, OHIO — Ankle & Foot Care Centers, which provide the finest quality foot care to residents of northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, will once again sponsor the Annual American Diabetes Association Golf Benefit. This year’s 9th Annual event will be held at the beautiful Pine Lakes Golf Course in Hubbard on Friday, August 24.

As diabetes often manifests itself in the form of conditions associated with the foot and ankle, Ankle & Foot Care Centers have worked actively with the American Diabetes Association to help those afflicted with diabetes. Proceeds from the golf outing will help support the ADA as it works to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of those who suffer with this disease. Last year’s golf outing raised $12,950 for the American Diabetes Association.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS
Local businesses are encouraged to support the ADA Golf Outing by sponsoring holes. Firms who choose a $100 sponsorship will receive a custom-made sign with the company name at the sponsored hole. For $250, companies will receive special recognition at the registration area and dinner pavilion. Contributions may be tax-deductible. Interested firms may contact Michael Vallas of Ankle & Foot Care Centers at (330) 629-8800.

GOLFERS
The $75 per player fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, beverages on the course, dinner at the pavilion and awards. The format is a four-man scramble. Participants may specify a preferred foursome, but individuals and pairs are welcome and will be accommodated into groups. Skill, merchandise, and door prizes will be awarded. The deadline for registration is August 17.

EVENT DETAILS
Event-day registration will be at 10:30 a.m., and a shotgun start will follow at 11:30. Lunch will be served on the course, with dinner in the pavilion immediately following the event.
