Home : News : September 14, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ankle & Foot Care Centers Raise $11,005 for American Diabetes Association Annual Golf Benefit held at Pine Lakes in Hubbard BOARDMAN — Ankle & Foot Care Centers, which provides the finest quality foot care to residents of northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania , raised $11,005 for the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association. The funds were raised during Ankle and Foot Care Centers ’ 9th annual golf outing, held August 24th at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Hubbard. Leah Salem, Executive Director of the American Diabetes Association said she is “proud of our longstanding partnership with Ankle and Foot Care Centers . They have been a primary supporter of the American Diabetes Association throughout the years.” Ankle & Foot Care Centers have 15 podiatric physicians and surgeons on staff, all of whom have extensive training in disorders of the ankle, foot, and lower leg and are Board Certified by the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. Using state-of-the-art equipment and treatment modalities, Ankle & Foot Care Centers' practice encompasses sports medicine and trauma. diabetic foot care, wound care of the lower leg and foot, surgical reconstruction, physical therapy, and orthotics and diabetic shoes. Ankle & Foot Care Centers also offer early morning, evening and Saturday appointments; 24-hour emergency care at all area hospitals; house calls for the home-bound; and nursing home care.
